Geography of Use and Dietary Traditions

Instant green tea powder has become widespread in East and Southeast Asian countries. In China and Japan, green tea is traditionally consumed as a leaf infusion, but in recent decades, powdered forms have become popular for quickly preparing drinks in street cafes and restaurants. In Thailand, green tea powder is used in national beverages such as "milk green tea" and "lemon green tea," which are prepared in street tea shops and cafes. In European and American countries, instant green tea is positioned as a product for office and home use, allowing for quick preparation of a healthy drink. The powdered form is also widely used in cooking — to give desserts and baked goods a characteristic green color and a mild herbal taste.

Toxicity and Food Safety

Green tea powder is considered safe when consumed in moderation. Individual reactions are possible in case of allergy to tea leaves. Due to caffeine content, it is not recommended for children, pregnant women, and individuals with insomnia. Anti-nutrients such as tannins may reduce iron absorption.

Product Composition: black tea 80.20%, semi-fermented green tea 15.60%, flavoring identical to natural
